Born in Nagoya raised in Yokohama, Japan, in 1985. CEO and General Partner of Skyland Ventures, a venture capital fund that mainly invests in seed startups founded by young entrepreneurs, and has established about $40M VC fund specializing in Web3 since 2022 with a multi-lingual team.
He graduated the School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University. Before founding Skyland Ventures, he was a member of Daiwa Corporate Investment and Incubate Fund, where he gained experience as a venture capitalist. He love SNS such as Twitter(40K follower), Youtube and Podcast. After 2022, he especially share about Japanese Web3 startup ecosystem.
He is known for his investments in companies such as, Cluster (Metaverse), ANYCOLOR (Vtuber Management), ROXX (Reference check service), Aidemy (AI in-house consulting), M&A Cloud (M&A Marketplace), LEAN BODY (Online Fitness Service), TranSe (Online Learning), LUCO (Live-Streaming Related Services), GITAI (Space Robots), 400F (Marketplace for Money Professionals), Alyawmu (“Furusatonozei” hometown tax NFT) and more. Skyland Ventures participated as the first seed investor.
